Cook book
A cookbook is a book containing recipes for preparing food. Cookbooks may be general, with a wide variety of dishes, or they may be specialized, with a focus on a particular type of cuisine or a specific dish.
The first known cookbook was written in Mesopotamia in about 1700 BCE and was called The Art of Cooking. This book contained recipes for stews, soups, and porridges, as well as instructions on how to prepare meats and vegetables.
In ancient Greece, cookbooks were not common, but there were a few penned by famous writers such as Xenophon and Archestratus. These books were more like collections of recipes than instructions on cooking, and they were often satirical.
