Hot toddy
A hot toddy is a mixed drink typically made of liquor and water with honey and spices. The drink is usually served in a mug or a cup and is often drank before bedtime as a nightcap.
The exact origins of the hot toddy are unclear, but it is believed to have originated in Scotland. The name "toddy" is thought to come from the Hindi word "tārā", meaning "a drink made from the fermentation of palm sap".
